Applications for the "Asia Pacific Youth Summit for the Blind" are now open
The "Asia Pacific Youth Summit for the Blind" is a special event co-organized by the International Council for Education of People with Visual Impairment (ICEVI), and Resources for the Blind, Inc. (RBI), with sponsorship from The Nippon Foundation. Last year, we were glad to have three representatives from Vietnam attending the summit.

Participants will get a quick tour of the main Braille translation features of Sao Mai Braille (SMB), with a more detailed demonstration of how to transcribe music scores into Braille using SMB. In addition, in the Q&A session we will be able to answer your specific questions about the translation tool.

Introducing two new software developed by Sao Mai: the Sao Mai Typing Tutor (SMTT) for both new computer learners/teachers to improve typing skills/manage students' keyboard learning activities; and the Sao Mai Braille (SMB), a rich-text editor + Braille translation program.
Training Workshop on Production of Accessible EPUB and DAISY Files with Advanced Features
From July 23-26, Sao Mai just hosted an advanced training on producing accessible EPUB3 and DAISY materials for 9 participants coming from different organizations for/of the blind based in HCM.
