Sao Mai Software Launching Event, Oct 23, 2018

On October 23rd, 2018, at Thien An Shelter, Sao Mai Center officially introduced 02 newest software products named Sao Mai Typing Tutor (SMTT) và Sao Mai Braille (SMB). The participants of this event are teachers, managers and technical staff from schools/ organizations for the blind in Ho Chi Minh City. We also welcomed Mr. Todd Reeves, CEO and Executive Director of Overbrook School for the Blind - a sponsor with many programs for South East Asian countries in the field of assistive technology development and application.

To start the event, Mr. Dang Hoai Phuc, Executive Director of Sao Mai Center, welcomed and introduced the agenda; then Mr. Todd Reeves made a brief remark and introduced about Overbrook School and the ON-NET (Overbrook-Nippon Network of Educational Technology).

In the main session, Ms. My Tien and Mr. Hoai Phuc took turns introducing the 02 products and answering questions from the participants. At the end of the event, Mr. Phuc also presented the software development plan with many more functions for SMB and SMTT such as: supporting more languages, adding the read-aloud function, allowing editing and translating Braille music...
