Release of Sao Mai Braille (SMB) 24.11.5

Highlighted new features in SMB 24.11.5 include: adding a new contracted Thai Braille table for literature text, support for speaking and translating math equations into Braille in Finnish, translating Vietnamese text into Braille when written in math equations, opening and saving EPUB files, scanning and recognizing text in more than 100 languages, supporting a new format style for vocal scores with chord symbols, adding a section-by-section format style used in Italy, improving figured bass translation, setting alignment for music text elements, and many other new features and improvements.

SMB 23.10 Release Announcement

Highlights in this SMB 23.10 release include, experimental feature for translating and embossing tactile graphics, adding new Braille translation tables for literature texts (Filipino, Romanian, Thai and Tshivenda), supporting the Spanish math code (CMU), applying most rules from Vietnamese math and chemistry Braille codes; and Bug fixes.

SMB 23.8 Release Announcement

Highlights in this release include: keep all applied styles in print when translating into Braille, apply styles in Braille document, rewrote functions to better handle Braille text translation, add new Malay and German language Braille tables, support Vietnamese math Braille translation, speak math equations in Spanish, updated to SM Music Braille library 23.7 with many new features, improvements and fixes.

Highlights in this release include: a new Braille page and printer management tool, the ability to apply Braille table types to multiple data tables in one document, fixes for critical issues, and many other improvements.
