Training on Accessible Book Production for Partner Organizations Held in Hanoi, April 2025

On April 22 and 23, 2025, the training program "Producing Accessible E-books", jointly organized by the Sao Mai Center for the Blind, the Vietnam Blind Association, the National Center for Special Education, and UNDP Vietnam, successfully concluded in Hanoi.

In addition to staff from the Vietnam Blind Association and the National Center for Special Education, the training also welcomed participants from the Vietnam Education Publishing House, Nguyen Dinh Chieu Secondary School in Hanoi, and the Thai Nguyen Support Center for Inclusive Education. The Sao Mai Center was responsible for the training content and provided the instructor.

The program focused on key topics such as the process of creating accessible e-books, standard accessible formats, and practical applications using natural and social science textbooks.

The training program contributes to promoting the production of more accessible books, bringing knowledge and the joy of reading to everyone in the visually impaired community.
