Summary of the “Say It, Can Do It” Training Series – Season III in Hanoi

Overview

The “Say It, Can Do It” training series, organized by Sao Mai for the Blind and STEP Club, officially concluded after five training sessions in Hanoi. The program was part of the “Empowerment Through Employment of Persons with Visual Impairment” project funded by The Nippon Foundation.

March Update on Activities of the Empowerment Through Employment Program for Visually Impaired Higher Education Graduates

As part of the project “Empowerment Through Employment for Visually Impaired Higher Education Graduates,” supported by The Nippon Foundation, Sao Mai for the Blind (SMCB) organized two training programs to kick off its 2026 series of soft skills and job training activities.

Introducing the SM Readmate software and the Accessible Books website

On the mornings of January 13, 16, and 17, 2026, Sao Mai’s technical support team visited the Nhat Hong Center for the Blind, HCMC Nguyen Dinh Chieu Special Education School, and the Huynh De Nhu Nghia Center to introduce the Accessible Book Library and the SM Readmate reading app to teachers and students from all three organizations.

Job Fair 2025

On the afternoon of 27 November 2025, as part of the event “Employment Bridge – Accompanying Employers and People with Visual Impairments” organised by Sao Mai Center for the Blind with the support of The Nippon Foundation, the job fair area became the most dynamic meeting point of the day. While the morning session helped address questions through information and perspectives, the afternoon created space for employers and candidates to engage in direct, practical, and meaningful conversations.
