Summary of the AI Skills Training Project for the Visually Impaired in Hanoi and Bac Ninh – April 2025

In today’s era of booming artificial intelligence (AI) technology, many barriers in
learning and work are being bridged through effective application of AI. Recognizing
the potential and necessity of AI accessibility for the visually impaired community,
the project “Equipping the Visually Impaired with AI Skills in Hanoi and Bac Ninh”
was implemented in March and April by the Starlight, with support from The Nippon
Foundation, through Sao Mai for the Blind.

Training on Accessible Book Production for Partner Organizations Held in Hanoi, April 2025

On April 22 and 23, 2025, the training program "Producing Accessible E-books", jointly organized by the Sao Mai Center for the Blind, the Vietnam Blind Association, the National Center for Special Education, and UNDP Vietnam, successfully concluded in Hanoi.

We are in the process of developing a new book library page, which will operate separately from the current website of saomaicenter.org. This aims to simplify and enhance the experience for both readers and library administrators.
The new Accessible Book Library is expected to officially launch on February 28, 2025.
