Inclusive education is more than just a concept, it is a commitment to providing equitable learning opportunities for all, regardless of personal circumstances or accessibility needs. In this spirit, RMIT University Vietnam continues its collaboration with the Sao Mai for the Blind to launch the “RMIT – Sao Mai Center for the Blind Opportunity Scholarship 2025.”
The world is rapidly entering the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the ability to keep pace with this technology has become essential to unlocking new opportunities, particularly in the job market. Recognizing this, the VIC, with support from the Nippon Foundation through Sao Mai for the Blind, launched the project “Mastering AI with the VIC.” The project aimed to raise awareness and understanding of AI among people with visual impairments, empowering them to use AI tools effectively in both their studies and daily lives.
In today’s era of booming artificial intelligence (AI) technology, many barriers in
learning and work are being bridged through effective application of AI. Recognizing
the potential and necessity of AI accessibility for the visually impaired community,
the project “Equipping the Visually Impaired with AI Skills in Hanoi and Bac Ninh”
was implemented in March and April by the Starlight, with support from The Nippon
Foundation, through Sao Mai for the Blind.
On April 22 and 23, 2025, the training program "Producing Accessible E-books", jointly organized by the Sao Mai Center for the Blind, the Vietnam Blind Association, the National Center for Special Education, and UNDP Vietnam, successfully concluded in Hanoi.

We are in the process of developing a new book library page, which will operate separately from the current website of saomaicenter.org. This aims to simplify and enhance the experience for both readers and library administrators.
The new Accessible Book Library is expected to officially launch on February 28, 2025.
From 18 to 24 November 2018, Mr. Dang Hoai Phuc/Sao Mai's Executive Director and Mr. Phung Minh Tuan/Media Staff went on a trip to Mongolia to study and suggest plans for the MNFB's technology development programs.
