Computer Training Classes
Until 2016 we have trained more than 1,500 visually impaired people from basic to advanced level. Among them more than 300 resource persons have been trained, including computer instructors for the blind, technicians, and people involved in production of materials for the blind. We also conduct training classes in other HCM Centers, in the provinces where the computer labs are created and outside Vietnam.
From 2001 twelve people have contributed to tutoring in Computer Education, Music and English. This page is about them.
We interact with the computer by using the keyboard but the computer interacts with the blind user by means of "voice". When classes are packed with trainees the room is very noisy, as in one of the videos below. But the blind develop a high level skill to recognize sound and to focus on sound sources.
