Installing Free AVG without Zen

Recently, the antivirus program, AVG has made certain changes in their interface by adding Zen as the main one to manage its related tools including internet security, antivirus etc. However, its user interface is not really accessible with screen readers. So, if you want to go back with free AVG without installing Zen, below are few quick steps to do that:

1. If you haven’t installed AVG on your machine, please proceed to next step. Download AVG Remover tool, run and choose to remove all AVG related programs on your machine. Note, you might need sighted assistance to access this tool as it’s not friendly on latest Windows 10 64-bit.
2. Download and install the right version of free AVG for your PC. Download AVG free 32-bit. Download AVG free 64-bit.

If you want to check your Windows is whether 32-bit or 64-bit, go to start menu, search for “System information” and press Enter to open. Focus will be in the System summary page, press Tab and then use down arrow to find the System type. Good luck!
